Maltby Food Bank thanks the following organizations and donors:
Thank you to the Soroptimist International of Bellevue group for donating supplies to the foodbank. Their theme this year was “Feed the Bear” which stands on one of the members front porch.
Silver Lake Water District – This group of employees, who has been partnering with us for 3 years, grows produce on their own time and gives it to us each week. We deeply appreciate their help. The clients are always thrilled with fresh produce.
Bear Creek United Methodist Church – We are deeply grateful to all of you who made Birthday Bags for our children and for everything you put in them. We are going to have some very happy children in this coming year!
The Cathcart Elementary parent group and Bob’s Corn – these two groups hosted a family night at the cornfield and supplied us with 1000 pounds of food and cash. Students and parents brought food items or money and received a wristband good for an evening of fun. Your generosity provided a wonderful evening for families in our community and helped Maltby Food Bank in a BIG way.
We are so grateful to everyone who gave us backpacks and school supplies. We provided 130 children with backpacks filled with all needed school supplies. All of the parents and children were very happy. Thank you for helping our food bank children start the school year with all they needed.
