The 2016 Maltby Food Bank Charity Auction and Dinner was a success!!
Our Fund-a-Need goal for this year’s auction was to raise enough money to purchase a forklift to use in our new storage building. We were blessed with a donation of a forklift by Combined Construction and Star Rentals, enabling us to redirect our funds to continue to provide fresh produce and dairy year round. The generosity of the community continues to amaze us, the auction proceeds for 2016 was over $58,000. Your donation helped us to achieve that goal for another year.
The auction could not have been as successful as it was without the volunteers who helped put the auction together, the companies and individuals who gave cash donations, the sponsors of the auction, especially the Langston Family and the attendees who opened their wallets that night. Everyone’s assistance whether in dollars or labor was greatly appreciated by the food bank board and clients.
